Well where is it then? Do I have to win 10 in a row? It's hard enough trying to muster enough luck to get a decent team to do so.

On top of that, I'm loving the lack of UAS button for Ritualists and Assassins for this weekend. It really pushes forward the concept of playing around with builds in the short time span we have to use them.

How do you figure? It seems to me that it nearly kills the concept entirely. Maybe for people who had 10,000 faction when the weekend began and are spending the whole event playing to get more, there's room to play around with builds, but I'm pretty much stuck with the premades, which I can already tell are just as awful as the chapter 1 premades.

I really do not understand why pvpers do not have a UAS.

Why force them to unlock? Why? I just don't get it.

If you have an existing account all you need to do it Travel to the Battle Isles. To do this click "M" to bring up your map then click on the SHIP in the water right next/near to Lion's Arch - you can then select to warp to the Battle Isles. Once there you can then "m"ap to the Random Arena's, Team Arena's and (bah, can't remember the name.. it's the new name for the high level pvp match's).

For those who create new accounts, or those on the PVP Event keys (I belive) have to win 5 consecutive times in the Random Arena's to unlock team Arena's - and this isn't that hard to do.. if a PVP newbie like me can get into groups and get 6-10 consec's (and killing things and pulling my own weight).. then any newbie player can make this.

Edit - new PvP character's now start in a map with a NPC which gives them quest's - you have 1 quest to talk to 3 "Master's" in the map and then a 2nd quest to talk to a NPC called "Master of Path's".. he sends you off to do 4 or 5 basic PvP match's vs AI teams (Annihilation, flag-tower, kil the priest, kill count). Once you complete these battles your taken to a "Mission" area where you can form teams of 4 to take on advanced AI teams (Mesmer IW teams, IWAY teams, Degen teams, Monk Smite teams, etc).

Now before this thread degenerate's anymore into a pointless ranting and raving and argument about UAS.. this thread is closed. If you have any specific questions about getting to the Battle Isles or the unlocking of the arena's, then ask specifically about them (in either the Q&A or PVP event forums)... but no need to dig up dead hoses (ie UAS) again.
